More youths needed to donate blood


KUCHING: Every chapter of the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) must try to reach out to more youngsters to donate blood.

National MRC vice-chairman Datuk Wira Dr Bahari Abu Mansor said donated blood was increasingly needed every year for transfusions, use in surgery, treatment of cancer and diseases like dengue fever.
