KUCHING: The first-ever Traditional Games Family Picnic kicked off to great fanfare at the Amphitheatre, with the Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and family making an appearance at the inaugural affair.
The sprawling grounds of the Amphitheatre was filled with some 300 visitors who turned up to participate in the various games organised by Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak, Sarawak Development Institute and Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) as part of the day’s activities.
