KUCHING: The Health Ministry should expedite the construction of the proposed Petra Jaya hospital and open up more accident and emergency (A&E) departments to reduce congestion at the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH).
Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How said the ministry should also extend the opening hours of polyclinics and staff at least one clinic in Petra Jaya with experienced doctors to better serve the city’s large population.
