Wong: No cause for alarm as CRE control measures in place


KUCHING: Nearly 40 cases of the Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) “superbug” have been reported in the state so far this year, but health authorities have assured that the situation is under control.

The Health Department said there were 38 cases in Sibu Hospital as of Wednesday while the Sarawak General Hospital here had one case.
