Little time for this leisurely pursuit

WHEN people talk about their hobbies or the things they like to do for leisure and entertainment, I am often reminded of a conversation I had at an interview.

I was asked about my hobby and without skipping a beat, I replied, reading. But in that second, it occurred to me that their follow-up question would likely be something along the lines of “What kind of books do you read?” or “What is your favourite book?”
