A COMPANY, with a contract to mine sand along the Selangor river in Rasa, Hulu Selangor, has been found to be illegally extracting sand from a reserve land belonging to the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID).
The company had also breached the terms and conditions of the permit by carrying out mining activity at the approved site after its permit had expired.
