Slow sales of bus tickets for north- and south-bound travellers

ALTHOUGH it has been more than two weeks since the fasting month started, ticket sales for the Hari Raya period at the Ipoh Integrated Bus Terminal and Complex Bandar Meru Raya (Amanjaya Terminal) are still less than satisfactory.

A check by The Star at the bus terminal on Wednesday showed that while many tickets for the east coast were already sold out, those for northern and southern destinations such as Penang and Johor were still available.
