Timber products export drop but value-added industries may help mitigate situation

KUCHING: Export of timber products from Sarawak has decreased marginally by 0.7% in the first five months of this year against the same period last year.

According to latest statistics from Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC), the state exported RM3.09bil worth of products as at May this year.
