SIBU: Secondary school students here are encouraged to participate in an inter- school public speaking contest which will be held on Aug 31 at Wisma Huawen DuZhong.
Jointly organised by the Sarawak Austra-lian Graduates Association (Saga) and the world’s largest non-profit organisation in public speaking, Toastmasters Interna-tional via its local chapter, the Swan City Toastmasters Club, the contest was aimed at promoting the usage of English as well as providing an opportunity for students to improve their public speaking skills.
