2,000 saplings planted and more to come


AFTER a successful mangrove restoration project in Johor, Malakoff Corporation Berhad has organised a similar initiative in Penang.

Its chief executive officer Zainal Abidin Jalil said the company channeled RM60,000 to plant 8,000 mangrove saplings in Seberang Prai as part of the third phase of the Mangrove Rehabilitation Project aimed at restoring the eco-system in the coastal region.
