FOLKS in Perak have urged the police’s newly formed Motorcycle Patrol Unit (URB) to increase patrols at housing areas to curb incidences of crime.
With some 135 high-powered motorcycles distributed to four districts in Ipoh, Teluk Intan, Seri Manjung and Taiping since April, many had high hopes that the URB would help prevent cases of house break-ins and snatch thefts.
