SJK (T) Sungai Renggam of Selangor retained the Malaysian Indian Football Association (MIFA) Under-12 title despite losing by a solitary goal to SJK (T) Ayer Tawar of Perak.
The Selangor team were declared the winners and took home the Datuk M. S. Maniam trophy and RM3,000 cash prize after they won the protest against their opponents for fielding an ineligible player.
