Kuching police chief wants public intelligence to help fight online gambling scourge


KUCHING: The cooperation of the public is needed to combat crimes such as illegal online gambling.

Speaking to The Star yesterday with regard to the illegal practice of setting up cybercafe-styled gambling premises, Kuching police chief ACP Roslan Bek Ahmad said it was important for the public to alert the police about such illegal operations should they suspect or see one.
