HASNIZAN Mohamad missed an ace by seven inches in the third leg of Cleveland Srixon CSSB open golf championships at the Orna Golf and Country Club in Malacca recently.
However, Hasnizan did not return empty handed as he was presented with 46-inch Sharp Aquos LED TV. The third leg attracted about 100 participants.
In the gross category, Abu Samah Kechil, a single handicapper, emerged as the champion after carding a 73 while the second spot went to Md Nasir Md Deni on 78.
In the A Medal, Karim Mohamad was the winner with 43 points followed by Zakaria Mohd (39 points) and Kamaruddin Omar (38 points) respectively.
Azwan Abu Bakar, a 22 handicapper, returned a massive 50 points to win the B Medal. Tokimi Darjini was second on 44 points while Saharul Azua Mat was third with 41 points.
