Bubble tea outlets in state still enjoying brisk business inspite of warning


THE recent health scare involving the discovery of maleic acid in some tapioca pearls has done little to affect the sales of bubble tea drinks that use the pearls.

A check by The Star at a few bubble tea drink franchises in Ipoh showed that the outlets were having brisk business, as usual.
