Kee Hern scores a double at tourney

SMK Mahsuri student Tan Kee Hern, 14, was the sole player to bag a double in the Langkawi Closed Age-Group Badminton Tournament.

Kee Hern won the Boys’ Under-14 singles title, beating schoolmate Phor Ling Yaow 21-19, 21-16 in the final. He later partnered Galvin Heah to win the Under-14 doubles crown at the tournament which was held recently at the LADA Sports Complex Hall in Kuah.
