GE13: BN’s PJS candidate uses his legal knowledge to help people

AS A law student in Universiti Malaya in the late 1980s, Sheah Kok Fah used to help underprivileged people who found it hard to write letters to the authorities to seek clarification on various matters and even students who wanted to know how to draft a letter to appeal for scholarships.

“Self-satisfaction, that’s what it was. Armed with notepads, envelopes, stamps and a pen, I would just write the letters in Malay or English to the various authorities. Most of the time, it had to do with pension-related issues,” said the 48-year-old.
