INCUMBENT Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai, incumbent Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah and Kajang municipal councillor Eddie Ng joined hands in Seri Kembangan recently to launch DAP’s mascot for the general election, a hornbill named Ubah (which means change).
The trio led a convoy of vehicles with Ubah stickers around Seri Kembangan and through Jalan Besar during the launch.
According to Ean Yong, there are more than 100 vehicles with the Ubah sticker in Serdang.
“Aside from DAP members, the public is also interested in the car stickers.
“Anyone can download the sticker template from www.ubah.my for free,” he said.
Ng, tipped to be the DAP candidate for Balakong, urged eligible voters to exercise their constitutional rights and vote.
“Do not think you cannot make a difference with just one vote because every vote counts,” he said.
Tan said there would be more than one million vehicles nationwide sporting the Ubah sticker to spread the message of change.
The mascot was first launched during the Sarawak state election in 2011.
