KUCHING: The coming general election is about who will lead the country as prime minister, and not one about the Sarawak chief minister, said a visibly irritated SUPP president Datuk Seri Peter Chin here yesterday.
At a press conference, Chin was asked to respond to DAP vice-chairman’s comment that Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud had “unwittingly” become the “chief campaigner” for the Opposition, adding Taib’s refusal to step down would help the Opposition.
