GEORGE TOWN: Penang PKR chief Datuk Mansor Othman has announced that maverick politician Badrul Hisham Shahrin (pic), popularly known as Chegu Bard, will be contesting the Sungai Acheh state seat.
In the 2008 general election, PKR candidate Azhar Ahmad lost to Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Mahmud Zakaria by 250 votes.
