SMK Tengku Mahkota Ismail are national youth lawn bowls champs

MOHD Saifudin Zulkapli and Mohd Muizz Mohd Norzaini of SMK Teng-ku Mahkota Ismail in Johor edged the Perlis A duo of Abdul Afif AbdulRahman and Mohd Firdaus Fauzi by a narrow score of 9-8 in the final to land the national Under-21 men’s pairs lawn bowls title in Alor Setar, Kedah.

Earlier in the semi-finals, Mohd Saifudin and Mohd Muizz, both aged 16, defeated the Selangor B pair while Perlis A scraped past their B counterparts by 15-14 to set up the final.
