GEORGE TOWN: A kopitiam employee was jailed one year and fined RM10,000 in default six months’ jail by a magistrate’s court here after admitting to an alternative charge of possessing a stolen car.
Lim Hock Song, 45, from Klang, Selangor, was originally charged with stealing a Proton Inspira worth RM63,000 at a parking lot of the Mutiara Vista apartment block in Jalan Bakau, Jelutong, at about 8am on March 25.
