Wet market traders unhappy with upgrading works

POULTRY trader Lew Yu Faa was more than willing to move out of the Malim Nawar wet market when upgrading works began at the 20-year-old market last October.

To Yu Faa and the other poultry traders, having to operate under canopies next to the market was a small price to pay in exchange for upgrading efforts that would im-prove their lives as well as that of market-goers.
