THERE is a huge demand for petroleum engineers, according to Institute of Engineering Malaysia (Penang Branch) immediate past chairman Prof Datuk Dr Eric Goh.
“In Thailand, most of the students undergoing their internships will subsequently be hired by the companies even before the completion of their studies,” he said.
