AN environmental training institute will soon be set up in Nibong Tebal, south Seberang Prai, to facilitate environment-related research and training programmes.
Penang Health, Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh said the institute would be financed by the private sector, with assistance from the United Nations (UN).
