A STATE executive councillor turned emotional as she recounted how difficult it was for her to perform in the face of criticism, including from her own party.
Speaking at the launching of Penang’s 2013 calendar of sporting events, state Youth, Sports, Women, Family and Community Development committee chairman Lydia Ong Kok Fooi, said it was a huge effort for her to come out with sporting events in the state.
