SIXTEEN Muslim associations as well as 21 madrasahs and suraus in the state have been allocated a total of RM1.7mil under the Federal Government’s 1Malaysia People’s Foundation.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop said the contribution, aimed at helping the Indian-Muslim community, showed that the Barisan Nasional administration had fulfilled its promises to the people.
