GEORGE TOWN: A state exco member has defended the “sky-high cost” of a proposed paired road as it will be built on pillars.
State Public Works, Utilities and Transportation Committee chairman Lim Hock Seng said the state government’s planned 12km Tanjung Bungah-Teluk Bahang road would be elevated unlike the Teluk Kumbar-Pekan Genting road straightening and widening project.
