CRICKETERS Shankar Goonasagaran and Varun Nadesh boldly stood up and were counted as they prevented their tennis rivals from making a clean sweep when the Penang Sports Club (PSC) saluted their young and promising sports personalities.
The duo, products of Penang Free School (PFS), did enough to emerge as recipients of the awards PSC handed out to their Juniors for their outstanding achievements at state and national level for 2012.
