Slain cop’s widow does not want more wives to suffer

KUCHING: Jabah Mingku, the widow of murdered policeman DSP Michael Padel, hopes that the Lahad Datu crisis would be resolved as soon as possible because she cannot bear to see more wives of security forces personnel suffering like her.

“The pain is very unbearable. Even now I still cannot accept his death,” she wept as she told reporters of the ordeal she had to face following the death of DSP Michael, one of six policemen gunned down during an operation against Sulu terrorists at Kampung Sri Jaya, Siminul, Semporna on March 3.
