GEORGE TOWN: A DAP branch leader has called on the party to give preference for local leaders to contest in the coming general election in Penang.
This is following speculation that the party is considering fielding personalities from other states as part of a strategy to ensure that Pakatan Rakyat retains Penang with a strong majority.
