Red Bull Thre3style worldwide DJ contest Malaysian Finals is scheduled for tonight as finalists battle it out to become the best party rocker in the country and represent Malaysia in the Red Bull Thre3style World Finals in Canada come December this year.
Red Bull Thre3Style is a DJ contest created by Red Bull Blue & Silver (Europe) to seek out the world’s best party rocker. The brief is simple; rock the crowd and keep them wound up for a good 15 minutes, and while you are at it, incorporate a minimum of three different musical genres into the mix.
Anything goes — from house anthems to old school hip hop to Top 40 remixes and DJs are judged on track selection, creativity, mixing skills, stage presence and crowd reaction.
Eight best submissions were chosen to compete in the national finals and they are Ben Cracko, DJ Reeve, Tipsy Han, t.k.i, DJ Tatsuro, DJ Faith, Nick Haydez and Nash D — names that are already familiar in Malaysia’s clubbing scene.
