IT WAS a night of fun and laughter for Puchong residents at a Chinese New Year celebration organised by the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) at the multipurpose hall in Batu 14, Puchong recently.

Council president Datuk Asmawi Kasbi said the event was held to bring the community together.

“During the past year, the community has helped MPSJ to resolve some of the problems and this celebration is our way of thanking them,” he said in his speech which was followed by performances featuring MPSJ staff.

Housewife Nelly Ng, 56, said she came with her family to enjoy the Chinese New Year celebration.

“It is nice of MPSJ to organise an event like this as it makes us feel appreciated,” she said.
