Good way to promote local cuisine

KUCHING: Hospitality courses at colleges and universities should put more emphasis on local food, said Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Dr James Dawos.

Speaking at the close of the first Young Tourism Chef Challenge at Kubah Ria here yesterday, Dawos lamented on the lack of local food offerings. He cited France as a country that had capitalised on its cuisine as a major tourism attraction.
