CM tells Najib that Sarawak will go all out to ensure he gets big mandate


MIRI: Chief Minister and state Barisan Nasional chief Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud made a promise that Sarawak was with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and would go all out to give him the mandate to continue leading the country after the general election.

Sarawak has 31 of the 222 parliamentary seats of which 29 are held by Barisan after the 2008 general election.
