Ex-Convent girls to meet for their 50th birthday

FORMER students of SM Convent Seremban and from the class of 1980 are organising a gathering on July 6 to celebrate their 50th birthdays as well as their 33rd year of leaving the school.

A group of them met late last year to plan the dinner, which will be held at the Royale Bintang Seremban ballroom.

Tai Kwee Lien, the organising committee chairman, urged all schoolmates of 1980 to attend the dinner to catch up with old friends.

“We will also celebrate all our birthdays.

“We have been contacting the former students and hope for good response,” she said.

She added that although their old school had been demolished and when rebuilt, named SM Puteri Seremban, fond memories remained.
