EVERY time I relate about my Chinese New Year celebration to a new friend and how I had spent it in Kuala Lumpur, I usually get that weird look before the infamous question pops out, “You mean this is your hometown? You don’t have a real hometown?”
I do not know what a “real” hometown is but working, living and celebrating Chinese New Year in this city that I call home is not as boring or as bad as some people think.
