Malacca has achieved its target in reducing food waste sent to disposal centres


MALACCA: Malacca is set to emerge as the benchmark state and training centre for food waste separation in the country based on the success of the pilot project implemented in the state.

Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Corporation chief executive officer Datuk Zaini Md Nor said the project had achieved its target in reducing the amount of food waste sent to the garbage disposal centre in the last two years.
