JAN 1, 2013 saw a new free trade agreement between Malaysia and Australia take effect in hopes of boosting exports and imports, develop the economy, strengthen trade relations with Australia and improve Malaysia’s place in the global market.
Described as having complementary economies, trade relations between both countries have been developed to work symbiotically to improve domestic business and to go forward together into the wider Asean region.
