One detained, over 40kg of protected wildlife meat seized in operation

KUCHING: More than 40kg of protected wildlife meat were seized by Sarawak Forestry Corporation’s (SFC) Swift Wild Life Action Team (SWAT) in their operation against illegal trade of wild life in wet markets here and Sibu recently.

During the operation here, SWAT Kuching conducted a joint operation with the police and Forest Department to bust an illegal wildlife trade in Serian after receiving tip off from a member of the public through a telephone.
