YAN: There was much cheer when 19 religious schools in Kedah received RM740,000 from the Federal Government.
Kedah Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Paduka Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah said the funds were promised by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin during his visit to the state in December last year.
