JUST in time to usher in the Year of the Snake, Tesco has rolled out special deals and a new festive range to fulfil all Chinese New Year needs.
The hypermarket is now offering unique Chinese New Year decorative items, such as dragon heads, lantern sets, Chinese New Year- themed soft furnishing and new tableware designs and home cookware.
Apart from the great deals on daily items, pre-bookings for reunion meal solutions such as abalone, treasure pots, roast duck or goose with wine and organic chicken are also offered at all stores.
To further ease preparations for the reunion dinner, ready-to-cook seafood and pre-packed Spring Toss Yee Sang package, a variety of seafood such as jellyfish, marinated seaweed, steamboat pack, mantis prawn meat, cod fillet and mussels are also available.
Tesco Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd marketing director Vivian Yap said, “For the Chinese, the Year of the Snake has always brought a sense of excitement and we are celebrating the lunar new year with our customers not just by giving special deals but offering a fuller CNY range.
“It has been a bustling trading season for us as customers are attracted by the great prices we offer.
“By shopping at Tesco, customers will not just find the best range but can also get rewarded through Clubcard points.”
Yap said Tesco shoppers who were looking for gifts would have an array of hampers to choose from including exclusive lines by Fomec, G&G Century and Eu Yan Sang at Tesco.
Customers who purchase hampers valued between RM200 and RM1,000 will be rewarded with free Tesco vouchers.
The hypermarket has also been spreading the joy by having Choy San, the Chinese god of fortune distributing free ang pow packets and Tesco vouchers to help customers with their shopping.
“The festive season is not just for us to feel fabulous but also to look fabulous, and for this reason, Tesco has lined up stylish and affordable CNY-themed tunics for adults and children.
“A range of toddler and children’s cheongsam, printed shirts, muscle tees and rompers are available from RM8 onwards.
Tesco is also offering customers the opportunity to take home prizes daily through its Gong Xi Savers Contest.
