Saving for retirement years

PLANNING and saving for retirement is something we rarely pause to think of until we are closer to our retiring years but demographic changes clearly indicate the need for a parallel change in mindset.

According to the World Population Organisation of the United Nations, as long as a country’s population at the age of 60 or above accounts for at least 10% of the total population, or the population at the age of 65 or above reaches 7%, it can be concluded that the whole population is ageing.
