Check voting locality with EC, newly-registered voters urged

KUCHING: Voters in the state, especially newly-registered ones, have been urged to check their voting locality with the Election Commission (EC) to verify that it matches the addresses in their MyKads.

Sarawak PKR vice-chairman See Chee How said he had come across a case of a newly-registered voter whose MyKad address is Jalan Stephen Yong in Batu Kawa here but her voting locality, according to the EC’s website, is in Kampung Pulat, Kelantan.
