Valentine’s Day also a chance to share with the needy

I HAD always admired friends who received exciting gifts and flowers on Valentine’s Day. For me, it was just another day filled with tasks to complete, until I gave birth to a Valentine’s Day baby in 1997.

I was admitted to the hospital about 1.30am on Feb 14. Despite reading so much about pregnancy and labour, I still panicked when my water bag broke, not knowing what to expect. It all happened very fast and the next thing I knew, I was on the hospital bed.
