Mercy flight ferries sick teen to hospital for treatment


KOTA KINABALU: A teenager in Labuan suffering from a blood disorder (thrombocytopenic purpura), was given a mercy flight by the Royal Malaysian Air Force to Kota Kinabalu for treatment.

The patient, Prudence Pearl Manih, accompanied by her mother Malina@Marina Sobinon, were flown in a C130 aircraft by Major Roslil Khitam Ahmad to the Kota Kinabalu International Airport Terminal 2 on Monday morning.
