KUCHING: A recent research conducted by the Health Ministry of China has revealed that the incorporation of Chinese traditional medicine into that of the Western practice can effectively treat cancer and prolong the lives of cancer patients.
President of the Malaysian Anti Cancer Association, Prof Dr Wong Ching Chong said out of some 800 cancer patients who underwent this combined treatment, more than 15% were either cured or had their life expectancy prolonged, compared to 2% who were treated only with Western medicine.
