GEORGE TOWN: An attempt to supply pirated Chinese New Year discs via courier service has been foiled with the seizure of pirated CDs and VCDs worth RM46,000 at two courier service centres in Seberang Prai and Jelutong.
Some 9,300 pirated CDs and VCDs featuring the latest Chinese New Year songs and English movies were confiscated simultaneously in the 7am operation yesterday.
