SIBU: A special assistant to MP Wong Ho Leng said illegal Internet gambling would defeat the purpose of the minimum wage policy (MWP) if it was not controlled fully.
The implementation of the MWP took effect last Jan 1 with the minimum wage set at RM900 in Peninsular Malaysia and RM800 in Sarawak and Sabah.
