KUCHING: Tourism stakeholders, including the state government, need to invest in producing quality licensed guides if Sarawak is to see more influx of quality visitors.
Rose Au, a freelance licensed tourist guide and lecturer at Global International of Tourism, said tourist guides were important frontliners and therefore, investment in building quality human capital would do a lot of good to the industry.
